Photos wanted.  Town, region, scenery, park, residents and historical, recent and older photos wanted. Especially photo's of buildings, train trestles, grain elevators or anything else which no longer exist.  As much information about the photo as you have available would also be nice.

Scanning 4"x6" photo's at 75 dpi gives a size of about 75 kb for jpgs which is a decent size for web pages.   Or you can drop off the photos at Vermilion Stationery and Books. You must have taken the photograph yourself, have the permission of the photographer or, as per the Canadian Copyright Act, the author of the photo has been dead for 50 years or more.

Oscar Van Dongen is a respected amateur photographer.  His photos of the rarely seen noctilucent clouds have been published in Astronomy magazine.  The picture was also in their annual calendar and was later part of their best photos in twenty years of publication.   For reprints and enlargements phone Oscar at 853 5882. 

Oscar abhors doing weddings because, if anything should ever happen, even if lost film, he knows the bride will wake up every morning very upset with him for the rest of her life.
